Aveda x 3.1 Phillip Lim 2021 Holiday Packaging

Fashion designer Phillip Lim partnered with luxury hair and body care brand Aveda to launch a vegan collection that calls on sustainable materials, botanical art and eco packaging. The collection features several innovative products including a scrunchie trio made from recycled water bottles, an organic cotton hair towel, and a wooden paddle brush with bristles made of 90% post-consumer fibers. Desiring both sustainable products and sustainable packaging, the premium gift sets are gift-ready without the need for wrapping, and recipients can reuse or display the gift boxes as miniature works of botanical art. Working closely with Phillip Lim on the artwork for this collection, Sophie Parker (Creative Director of the botanical Brooklyn studio, WIFE) created custom paintings that were digitally transformed to create the beautiful prints. The Aveda in-house packaging design team artfully used the prints to create the limited-edition holiday packaging.
